Tridium Niagara Upgrade For JCI N30 and N2 Systems Systems

Updated: Dec 10, 2019

BAS has extensive experience in converting JCI N30 and N2 systems to a Tridium Niagara based system.

N30 - These supervisory controllers support BACnet IP integration. So, a Tridium Niagara network manager using the BACnet IP network driver can integrate with the data points in the N30 to provide a modern, Web based control system and user interface. This integration approach is easy to implement and has the added benefit of allowing existing JCI tools such as 'passthrough' mode to continue to function.

N2 - This approach removes the existing JCI Supervisory Controllers and replaces it with a Tridium Niagara network manager. The network manager is supplied with an N2 driver that can communicate directly with JCI N2 devices on a RS485 sub-network. The Tridium network managers can support multiple N2 sub-networks which often significantly improves the system operation.

Call BAS or email to learn more about our extensive experience with these integrations.
